Chromatic Dark comes from Oulu, Northern Finland. Their music is a versatile mixture of aggressiveness and melody. The biggest influences come from thrash and death genre. The band was founded in 2003. So far Chromatic Dark has released four self-published EP recordings: Obsidious (2006), Hateballads 2008 (2008), Fractures (2009) and Inhuman Conviction in year 2011.

The songs for their newest promotional EP "Inhuman Conviction" were recorded in Oulu in several locations during three months in spring 2011. Then the tracks were sent to studio for further processing and the final product became ready in the end of May. Powerful sounds were achieved making honour for the new songs that are more aggressive and mean than ever before in band's back catalogue.

For the bands freshly baked EP the band strives to get as wide following and media coverage as possible. The hunt for new gigs and recording deal has begun. Also the writing of new songs for the first full length album has started.
